A bit after college, I got a job in the GPI Books department proofreading and transcribing interviews with rock stars. Later I got a real position editing and managing the production of commercial books compiled from Guitar Player, Keyboard, and Frets magazines. Finally I got to co-author two instructional books (below).
I did all writing and organization, while my co-author taught me to program synthesizers and MIDI devices.
An easy-to-understand, musical approach to playing and programming a keyboard synthesizer. Alfred Publishing, 1986.
